WE HAVE SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE!!
- Science Workshop tickets are £10 per child (one adult free per child, any extra adults £2). We have a wide range variety of workshops from Science experiments to Dome workshops.
- Coding Workshops are £50 per child
- Science Zone Lego Workshops are £24 per child.
- Science Experiments can be arranged for £10 on the day if staff are available (30-40 minutes session).
- Digital 360 degrees Immersive Feature Films (20-30 minutes):£2 per person.
- Planetarium shows (30 minutes) includes a presenter who interacts with you:£4 per person.
- Sensory rooms & Dinosaur Den (5 interactive rooms): £2 per person or family ticket for £6 (2 adults + 2 children).
- Ammonite Art (with free ammonite to take home): £5 per go.
- Dig Your Own Fossil Activity: £5 (standard) or £10 (large)

Opening times for School Half Term Holidays
10.30am to 4pm
We are not open during term time during the week days except for After School Club. See times below.
Open every Saturday as normal services 10.30am to 4pm.

Thu: 3pm to 5.30pm

Sat: 10:30am - 4pm
On the road:
We do science experiments and dry ice workshops and dinosaur parties for children and/or adults on location - if you have a big enough space with an electrical power supply, we can do it.
School Service:
Our fixed planetarium in our Zone centre is open to the public. We also welcome local schools to visit the Dorset Planetarium in the Science Zone, maybe for a workshop too.
Bookings for planetarium in 2026 must be made in advance - please contact reception for available dates and times.
